-----Question-----
is there cable under seat of 99 coupe if so isthat why airbag warning light is oor you can seguste other
-----Answer-----
The 1999 Tiburon-- I presume that's what you mean by "coupe"-- air bag system doesn't monitor anything via a wire under the seat.

There are many reasons why the warning lamp may come on, all of which may affect the proper operation of your air bag system.  To find out the nature of the problem, you'll need to have the air bag system diagnostic trouble codes read.
-----Answer-----
You'll need to take the car to a shop with a tool capable of reading the air bag codes.  The dealer will be able to do this.  I don't know whether the aftermarket scan tools independent shops use have the capability to read air bag codes.  If you'd like to take your car to an independent shop, you should probably call first to see whether they're able to competently perform air bag diagnoses on Hyundais.

Answer
The Hyundai dealer should have all the tools required to read air bag codes.  If they have the proper tools and still cannot communicate with the air bag computer, then they should be determining whether there's a problem with the air bag computer or with power or ground to the computer.

Why cannot the dealer read the codes?  They should be able to give you a very good reason.  If you do not receive a satisfactory explanation, you should *immediately* call Hyundai consumer assistance to request a resolution.

To my knowledge, there are no experts on Hyundai air bag computers beyond the dealer themselves.  There is no advantage to removing or disassembling the air bag computer.  If the problem is within the computer, the code likely won't clear and the computer will need to be replaced.  If the problem is external to the computer, the lamp will simply come back on if the problem hasn't been repaired.
