Hyundai Repair: Check Engine Light, hyundai elantra, test failure

Question
I have a 99 Hyundai Elantra Sedan L4-2.OL the check engine light came on and stayed on, I took it to AAMCO and they rebuilt the transmission, 2 days later the check engine light came on again and stayed on the codes this time were PO441 Evap system Purge Flow Low. Is this an immediate concern or is it something that can wait to be repaired, I know this will cause an emission test failure but other than that can it cause any more damage to the car if not repaired right away, please help, thankyou.

Answer
You may have some difficulty starting the car after refueling or after it sits for a significant period of time.  Hyundai uses P0441 to refer to any problem with purge flow.  In most cases the purge control valve is stuck open.  If you can blow through the valve with the car off, it's stuck open.
