Hyundai Repair: fuse, electrical current, melting point

Question
hello HT , & how are you?
my question is a general question for any car.
what really causes fuse to below
thanks

Answer
Hi, Am.  I'm good.

Fuses contain a conductor with a relatively low melting point.  As the electrical current through a fuse increases, so increases the temperature of the conductor I've mentioned.  So, if whatever is on the other side of the fuse from the power supply draws more current than the fuse can handle, the fuse overheats and blows.
