Hyundai Repair: 2000 Hyundai Accent poor exceleration, air flow sensor, hyundai accent

Question
I'll try to explain this the best I can, check engine light is on, went to AutoZone scan says P1128 I believe (fuel issue?) changed filter, changed fuel pump, of course disconnected battery, on re-connect car runs extremely badly (I assume because the fault code cleared, but problem still exsists?)  Heres what my car has been acting like...very slow or no acceleration with pedal pushed underload, in neutral it will rev high but slowing, then when pressed to the floor it "bogs out", can it be the MAF sensor?

Answer
The air flow sensor is the number one cause of the P1128 code on the 2000 Accent.  Before you put one on, I'd recommend checking to make sure you don't have any leaks which would introduce unmetered air into the engine.  The PCV hose is a common leak area.  Also check to make sure the air bellows is securely attached to the air flow sensor and the throttle body.
