Hyundai Repair: help, crank sensor, fuel gauge

Question
my tiburon just died on me. I know the gas was low but i had time to get to the gas station. Then i went and got gas but it didn't even register. What's wrong. It cranks fine. Help

Answer
If you added fuel and your fuel gauge still reads empty, you may need to add more fuel.  How much fuel did you add?

Other possibilities would include a failed fuel pump, a defective crank sensor, a stripped timing belt, or anything that would prevent the ECM from operating properly.
