Hyundai Repair: Hyundai Sonata Power Window Repair, plastic pulley, hyundai sonata

Question
I have a 2000 Sonata and the power window "cable" is dislodged or something. I removed the panel to find the cable from the motor loose. I'm trying to find out how this is set up so I can repair or replace parts as needed. It is a different type system then I'm used to, with the cable.  A Detailed drawing of this arrangement would be the most help. Thanks

Answer
You'll need to replace the window regulator.  If you look closely enough, you'll see that the plastic pulley piece on the top of the regulator is broken.

If you've managed to get the door panel off, you shouldn't have much trouble replacing the regulator.  Simply unbolt the window from the regulator, push it up and tape it in place.  Then unbolt the regulator from the door (5 to 7 10mm bolts/nuts), unplug the window motor, and slip the window regulator out of the door.  Then transfer the motor to the new regulator and reinstall.
