Hyundai Repair: already changed sensor, output speed, speed sensor

Question
Hi I've already change the output speed sensor in my 2000 sonato which the scanner showed it being the problem of hard shifting into gear and check eng. light on but still having the same problem,  my question is could it be the computer itself that's malfuntioning or is there another solution?

Answer
I see that you had a code for the input speed sensor as well.  Did you replace that, too.  If not, you'll need to start with replacing the input speed sensor as well.

If you haven't already done so, you should disconnect the battery for a few minutes to clear the trouble codes.  Then drive the car until the check engine lamp resets again.

If you have already cleared the codes, skip the above steps.

Then have the codes reread.  It's possible there may be another code set now.  The transmission computer may have been unable to detect a second issue because the output speed sensor wasn't working properly.

Once we know whether the same code returned, we'll know whether to review the things that we've already attempted to repair or whether we now need to look elsewhere.
