when driving, my car will lose speed and gets warm, I pull over and wait a few minutes, then take off again and my car is fine for about 45 minutes, then it happend again. I was told it was the speed sensor on the tranmission. It that true? Please help

If your car actually starts slowing down, it's very unlikely to be caused by a speed sensor.

When you say the car gets warm, do you mean that the coolant gauge reads higher than normal?  If so, is it in the red zone?

Answers to the following may also assist me in figuring out what sort of problem you have.
Is your check engine lamp coming on?
What year is your Sonata?
Which engine do you have?

Answer
That definitely sounds like a transmission issue.  The fact that you cleaned the sensors and it seemed to get better hints that it may be one of the speed sensors.

Based on your description, I'd expect that the check engine lamp should be coming on.  I'd recommend having the engine and transmission diagnostic codes checked.  It's highly likely that they'll provide tremendous insight into what the problem is.
