Passenger side electric mirror started moving on its own. We have had some rain. When I moved the position on the selecting switch to operate the drivers side mirror the front door edge warning light is on. Even with the door closed. I would assume it is a short of some kind but why would it show up now and what can be done to rectify the problem. Thank you.

You've probably got corrosion in one or both of the front door wiring connectors.  The solution is to replace the connector (and door harness if necessary) of the affected side(s) and do some body seam sealing.  Hyundai has a TSB (technical service bulletin) that provides information about this problem and how to repair it, along with the part numbers of the connector repair kits.  The dealer will need to look up the part numbers for the door harnesses.  You can view the TSB at www.hmaservice.com.  You'll need to register for a free account, and the site requires Internet Explorer.  You'll be looking for TSB 06-90-008.
