Hyundai Repair: 2000 Elantra, steering wheel, slow speeds

Question
I have a noise coming from my car, it almost sounds like a flat spot on a tire. But it is sending a pulsing in the steering wheel, like a vibration. Now when going down the highway, if I turn to the right it gets louder. Also at real slow speeds, it almost sounds like a grinding, but not quite.

Answer
This could either be a problem with the tire, or a faulty wheel bearing.  Because it gets louder when you turn right, I'd primarily suspect the left front wheel bearing.  If you want to do some checking on your own, you could swap your tires from side to side and see if the noise moves.
