Hyundai Repair: fuel pump, advance auto parts, fuel pumps

03-Elantra-GLS 2.0L   86255miles   I replace the fuel pump& fuel filter. When the car is running the new pump is very noisy,this is a after market pump from Advance auto parts -master is the pump name is this normal or the pump ng.       thanks   BOB

If you take the car out and drive it very hard and it runs normally, the noise you hear is probably normal for that pump.  I don't have any experience with Master fuel pumps, so I don't know how noisy they may be.  If it really bothers you, check with Advance and see if they'll exchange it for you.  If the new one makes the same noise, I'd expect it's normal for that brand pump.
