Hyundai Repair: My car is crying, hyundai accent, worn brake pads

Question
I have a 2003 Hyundai Accent (automatic).  About a week ago it just starting squealing when I'm driving.  It started out just faintly but now it is quiet loud.  The really wierd thing is that it's just when the car is moving, when I put the brakes on the squealing stops.  If anyone has any idea as to what may be wrong please let me know.

Answer
The symptoms you describe are consistent with worn brake pads.  The pads have metal clips on them that rub on the rotors when the pads wear out, and this causes the squealing sound you hear.  The idea is that you'll hear the noise and take your car to the shop prior to the pads wearing to the point where they damage the rotors.
