Hyundai Repair: 2001 Santa Fe, mis-fire, valve job, new spark

Question
I have a 2001 Santa Fe, manual transmission, 2.4L vehicle.

I recently had a valve-job done and shortly after, the vehicle would mis-fire and jerk down the road - almost like it was flooding itself.  I returned it and had new spark-plugs installed and it worked fine.  This was back in August.

The vehicle is starting the same symptoms.  When the engine is cold, it runs fine, but as soon as it warms, it starts dragging - like a mis-fire or flooding situation.

Don't know if I it could be a sensor, which one, plugs, or fuel injectors.  I've spent so much money on this darn truck this past year, I'm hoping its some minor things I can attempt in my own garage.

Answer
Based on your description I'm not convinced that you have a misfire type issue, but it's certainly a possibility.

Is your check engine lamp on?  If so, start with diagnosing the codes present.  If you'd like, you can have the codes read and report back and I'll offer advice based on them.

If your check engine lamp is not on, you should probably take the car to a good driveability shop.  Since I don't have a good "feel" for what's happening based on your description, the best way to narrow the scope of potential problems is to have someone experienced actually feel what's happening.
