Hyundai Repair: 2001 Santa Fe Electrical Problem, crank sensor, clock setting

Question
My 2001 Santa Fe (6 cyl.) has the following issues: stalls or bucks when the air conditioning is on recirculate, loses its radio presets and clock setting, has flickering interior lights and headlights, and intermittent automatic lock failure. Do you think this could be a problem with the crankshaft positioning sensor? Could it be related to the recall due to cracked CPS? I had the alternator replaced at the dealership. Didn't  help a bit.

Thanks in advance.

Answer
The only thing in your description that could be related to the crank sensor would be the bucking and stalling.

The radio and clock resetting mean that you've lost power or ground to those items.  In fact, just about everything is consistent with a dead or discharged battery or an intermittent electrical connection.
