AnswerYou should be able to replace the cable in question.
You'll need to remove the console to access the handle end of the cable.
On the other end, you'll need to remove the drum for the wheel to which the cable goes. You'll then need to remove the shoe to which the cable goes.
After that, it should be simply a matter of unhooking, unclipping, unbolting, and removing the cable.
