Hyundai Repair: P1128 another question, vin code, core charge

Question
Okay 1st Thank You for the info. I can get the part at the dealer for $225, or I can get it online for $88 + $60 core charge. I can also order it at the local parts store maybe. The problem is the one at the parts store calls for the eighth digit in the VIN to be an N, My car has the eighth digit of G.What is the difference ? The engines are both 1.5 sohc. I know the 8th digit on my talon signifies engine differences(turbo and non turbo). The part number cardone remanufactured #74-10049 is the same for the one on the internet and at the local store, and the online source does not specify N or G. Does N or G make a difference?   The dealer seems like the most secure choice, but the price is way to high. I would prefer to get it elsewhere if I can.

Answer
N is the vin code for the 1.5 engine from 1995 to 1999.  G is the vin code for the 1.5 engine from 2000 to 2005.  There are small differences in these engines.

I checked the catalog to see if the older Accents use the same sensor as yours, and they do not.  I'd suspect the sensor at the local parts store may not be correct for your car.
