Hyundai Repair: 99 Tiburon Auto Trans Problem, purge valve, transmission overhaul

Trans seems to go onto limp mode and check engine light comes on. Last dtc check gave me P1624, P0441, and P0734. Any ideas?

P0441 is for an irregular purge flow.  This isn't related to your transmission problem.  In every case I've seen this code, the purge valve has been stuck open or was sticking open intermittently.  Replacing the purge valve is almost certain to resolve this code.

P1624 is simply an indicator that the TCM requested a check engine lamp.

P0734 means that your transmission is slipping in 4th gear.  If you don't have a code P0717 or P0722 (pulse generator), you're probably looking at a transmission overhaul or replacement.
