Question -
i have a 2000 accent. when i start my car in the morning my engine light flashes and my car has a little acceleration problem. when i drive on the freeway and i give it a little gas it start to buck a little. i had it put on the computer and they said the code was a sensor. i was wondering what sensor is it?

Answer -
If your check engine lamp is flashing, you have a misfire and shouldn't drive the vehicle.  Misfires are most often caused by spark plugs, plug wires, and the ignition coil, so these things should be checked first.

I'm confused by the fact that you were told the code was for a sensor.  If the check engine lamp was *flashing,* I wouldn't expect that to be caused by a sensor.  If you can tell me the trouble code, I can give you information on what to check for the possible cause of the code.

Answer
At this point, you'll need to have the code read again.  Without the code, I cannot give you a meaningful list of possible causes.  Once you have the code, you should be able to give that to me or someone else knowledgeable and find out the possible causes of your problem.
