Hyundai Repair: Hard start after fill, fuel vapors, purge valve

Question
Answer
Your purge control valve is probably stuck open.  Under normal operation, the ECM (Engine Control Module) opens and closes this valve when you're driving to burn off excess fuel vapors.  If it's stuck open, the a large amount of vapors will be pushed out of the tank and into the engine when you fuel, causing the engine to be flooded.

Now it has become hard start all the time, so is the answer to replace the ECM or the valve? Or are they both within the ECM itself?

Answer
If you have difficulty starting mostly after the car sits for a long time or after filling, this would still be consistent with the purge control valve.  If you have difficulty starting only after being off for a few minutes (and not fueling), then you may have an additional problem.

The purge control valve is in the engine compartment.

It's doubtful that the problem is with the ECM.  Hyundai has very few problems that require ECM replacement.

I'd recommend starting with the purge valve and seeing whether the car is fixed or you have further problems to be addressed.
