Hyundai Repair: Air bag light and Check engine light, 2002 hyundai sonata, charcoal canister

2002 Hyundai sonata, 6 cyl. The code for the Air bag is B1382 Passenger Side Resistance high. Check engine code is P0449 Evap Vent Sol Contol Ckt. On the evap vent, possibly the charcoal canister is plugged, I couldn't locate it. Do you know where it is located? Should I have the dealer repair the Air Bag?

The charcoal canister is located on the left rear corner of the vehicle just inside the bumper cover.

If you have any doubts about your ability to safely work on an air bag system, you should have the dealer (or a qualified repair shop) repair your air bag problem.  Either way, it should be repaired.  Your air bag system may be disabled anytime the warning lamp is on.
