Hyundai Repair: hard starting, fuel pressure regulator, charging systems

03 Elantra hard starting after car sits over night but this does not happy all time!!!  then the car starts the rest of the day

Answer
If the car cranks slowly or doesn't crank at all, you should check the starting/charging systems.  Suspect the battery.

If it cranks at normal speed, then suspect that the fuel pressure may be bleeding off through the fuel pressure regulator.  If that's the case, you'll need a new fuel pump assembly.
