Hyundai Repair: hyundai santa fe front brake replacement, hyundai santa fe, calipers

i have a 2002 hyundai santa fe 2002 v6.  i replaced the front pads and now the brake pedal goes all way down. in order to re-install the calipers after installing the new pads, i used a c clamp to compress the pistons. i have bled the front lines but the problem persists.

I've seen this happen if the inboard and outboard pads are switched.  The inboard pads are the ones that have the wear indicator on them.  The indicator should be on the top of the pad when installed.  If it's on the bottom, the inboard pad is installed on the wrong side of the vehicle.
