Hyundai Repair: dip stick tube, rust belt, dip stick

2003 accent,the dip stick tube broke off ,how do i change it,is there any info on this being a problem with this vehicle.

Usually the tube mounts to the engine block with one bolt.  Depending on where the tube broke, you'll need to remove the bolt and simply pull the tube up and out of the hole in the block.  

If it's broken at or near the block, you'll probably need an appropriately sized screw or bolt to thread into the tube so you'll have something to grab onto to pull it out.

I've never heard of this happening, but I suppose it could be a problem in the rust belt areas.
