Hyundai Repair: 2000 Hyundai Tiburon headlamps both out, hyundai tiburon, voltage output

Question
Would this be caused by a short in the electrical system? I
checked, and the brights do work, one fuse seems OK, the other
refuses to budge.

Question -
Both headlamps are out in my Tiburon. Parking lights and brake
lights are OK, haven't check the brights. Tried to check the fuse
under the hood, but were very hard to remove. Just wanted to
know
what might cause this?

Answer -
Usually when both headlamps are out, both bulbs are burned
out.  I've seen this numerous times.

Answer
The only thing in the electrical system that would cause the bulbs to burn out would be excessive voltage output from the alternator.  If that's the case you should have an air bag and possibly an ABS warning lamp on.  Most likely, it's nothing more than burned out bulbs.
