How can i repair the turn lights, i need to know which part i need to change.

I have a Hyundai Accent GLS 1999

Answer -
Hi, rafael.  To know what you might need to repair your turn signals, I'll need to know what is occurring.

Do your hazard lamps operate?
Are all of the turn signals out?
Do they illuminate and not flash?

Add anything else you can think of that might help me know what may be going on with your car.

Ok, sorry i forgot to explain the situation

The lights doesn't work just the hazard lights hav a normal function, the real story about that was: I forgot to turn it off the for hours within the hazard lights working whn i turn it off the hazard lights, the turn lights appears light disconnected, could be a relay, but i don't know wich is the part, i already identified one but i'm not sure.

Thanks a lot!!!

Answer
No problem, Rafael.

The relay controls both the hazard and turn lamps, so I expect the relay is okay.  Most likely, I suspect the problem is the hazard switch itself.  When you turn the hazard lamps off, the hazard switch needs to close a circuit that enables the turn signals.  If it doesn't do that, then the turn signals won't work.

But before replacing the hazard switch, you should check the fuses.  Replace any blown fuse.  It's also possible the problem could be with the turn signal switch or the wiring, but these are very infrequent.  If you'd like to check the circuit, I find the easiest place to start is at the hazard switch.  You can find the schematic at www.hmaservice.com.  You'll need to register for a free account, and the site requires Internet Explorer and Adobe SVG Viewer (a free download) to view the schematics.
