Hyundai Repair: 2002 Huyndai Accent Transmission removal, hyundai accent, trans service

Question
Hi, I searched through previous questions but did not find an answer. I have a 2002 Hyundai Accent 3 door with 104K. The transmission will not go into overdrive. After a trans service and another PCM I still have no overdrive. This seems to be an internal problem so I got a low milage replacement, but I do not see how the trans comes out. Does it have to be removed with the engine? There does not seem to be any room for it to come out the bottom with the engine on one side and the subframe on the other. Thanks for any help in the correct removal procedure.

Answer
The sub frame must be removed to take out the trans. The engine will stay in the car and will require an engine support to keep it from falling. This is quite an undertaking that I wouldn't reccomend without some experience.
Good luck, hope this helps.
