Hyundai Repair: bleeding the cooling system, hyundai elantra gls, hyundai elantra

Question
Do I need to bleed anything in my coolant system when replacing my thermostat on my 2000 Hyundai Elantra GLS?

Answer
There are no bleeder screws on that model but caution should be taken to work the air out of the system. Once you fill the system start the engine and run it until the fan cycles. It should turn on and off. I would then turn off the car, let it cool off, Add coolant if needed and repeat the process. After a couple of times doing that all the air should be purged from the system.
Hope this helps,
Good luck
