Hyundai Repair: Transmission Kit, hyundai sonata, transmission kit

I am looking for a transmission kit for a 1998 Automatic V6 Hyundai Sonata. I need all the tools to rebuild a transmission. Or do you think that it would be better to purchase a new one. What is the price for the kit.

As far as a rebuild kit goes I have no idea, Hyundai stopped line techs from repairing trans's and went to a swap program years ago. You could purchase a reman trans redy to go from a local dealer, you would have to contact them for pricing. As far as all the tools go again there is no "kit" to speak of so a swap is usually your best option.
