Question
I was driving when the A/C quite working.  I kept driving without looking at my guages.  Ten minutes later the top of my radiator split clear across the top.  I replaced the radiator only.  The car continues to overheat after about 5-10 min. of driving.  What could the cause be, Thermostat, water pump?

Answer
I would go after the thermostat. It may have failed first and caused the radiator to crack or the failed radiator may have gotten the T stat so hot that it is stuck now. When you replace the thermostat make sure the fans cycle on and off after the replacement. If the fans don't turn off and are pushing cool air past the radiator there is an air pocket in the system. Shut off the engine, let it cool down and add coolant and re check.
Good luck
