Hyundai Repair: Power Steering Pump Noise, hyundai elantra, power steering pump

Hello Robert I have a Hyundai Elantra 2001 and recently had the power steering pump changed. There is a slight whirring noise that gets louder as the rpms go higher. I didn't notice this before, the service manager says this is a normal sound but I honestly didn't hear it before. Is this normal?

Sorry this is hard being i cant hear sounds online,but look at the fluid an see if it is red or is more creamy red like it as air in it, an if it as air you need to have it bleed down an refilled right, this is what happens when it get airated,sorry hope this helps
