Hyundai Repair: Will not restart when hot, hyundai sonata, 2 quarts

Question
I have a 2001 Hyundai Sonata, and when the car is hot, the car will crank, start, and immediately die. It starts up immediately and sounds healthy for a fraction of a second, but then it's as if I've turned the ignition off. (It doesn't sputter to a halt or idle roughly; it just dies immediately.)

When cool, the engine will start, but often dies when I first put it into gear unless I keep the accellerator pressed a bit.

The "Check Engine" light is lit at all times.

The following conditions led to this event:

I had just installed a high-performance air intake, and wanted to hear the difference.  I started the car and soon after revved the engine hard (I know now that was a very ignorant thing to do).  **The thing is that I didn't realize I was 2 quarts low on oil.**

I've put the stock airbox/filter back on since then to eliminate it as a variable. (There's no change).

Also, I was at 1/4 tank of gas. Now I have 3/4 tank of gas, and that made no difference.

Oh, and I don't think it's flooding; there's no black smoke or gassy smell.

Answer
do a cranking test an see if apark stays an also but a fuel presure test on it an see if presure stays up after its starts an then see if the pump stays running sometime after you let off the key no power runs to the gage  after start up then take it from there an find whats not staying on afterwards
