Hyundai Repair: Air Bag Light, hyundai elantra, new hyundai

Question
Hello Robert,  I really hope you can answer my question....  First, let me give you some background.  I know a lot about auto repair.  I do all the work on my cars, but most are older cars.  In 2001 I bought a new Hyundai Elantra.  I have driven it very little, it has less than 3000 miles on it.  I do most of my driving in a 1986 Mazda that still runs great!  Because I don't drive the Hyundai much the battery dyed and was dead for a long time.  When I finally replaced the battery, the "Air Bag" light on the dashboard now stays lit.  I am sure there is nothing wrong with the air bag system. I know when the power was off that the situation caused one or more "codes" to be generateed and that this triggered the light to stay lit.  I don't have any way to remove the codes and I don't want to take the car to the dealer.  So, my question is..... Is there any way to manually reset this light and make it go off?   Hope you have a "shade treee mechanic" solution....

Thanks, Marie
