Hyundai Repair: Car wont start, 2003 hyundai elantra, hyundai elantra

Question
Mr. Flowers,

I have a 2003 Hyundai Elantra. For the past few months, it's been starting less and less quickly until a couple of weeks ago. Now, it won't start at all (unless you push start it). When I turn the key, nothing happens - no clicking, no noise of any kind. The lights on the dash/radio, etc. all come on. I've taken the starter to AutoZone and they said that it works fine. I was wondering if this is a problem with the relay or some safety switch - the neutral or the clutch. I've bipassed one of the clutch safety switches and it worked the first time I tried to start it but not anymore.

Do you have any suggestions? Do I need to take it to a shop to have them read our computer for any relay errors or is there a way I can detect that on my own? It just seems like the electricity is not getting from the battery to the starter. After the car starts, it runs fine.

Thank you for your time!!

Evan
