QuestionJust wanted to update you. I sent in my question last week, you said I needed a new transmission, I had the car fixed and it was the pulse genrator. Here is our conversation:
Question -
I have a 99 Sonota, no matter how fast I'm driving the car suddenly lunges ahead. The car keeps running, but if I have to stop at an intersection etc., I have to put the car in low to go. I've had 3 people look at the car and no one can find anything. They told me there was no codes to read either.
Answer -
Your having internal transmission problems is what's going on,your starting to burn the clutches an soon you will not be able to move the car at all,so sorry to say it is time for another transmission ,
When the car lunges, the check engine light comes on. The lunge is more like I just hit something like an animal. If I shut the car off, the check engine light goes off..sometimes it doesn't come back on and sometimes it does.";

AnswerYEs as i did state its transmisson problems,an with out running the scanner on it my self i went by what u told me an when transmissons start slipping like that its normal to go internal, an also being you said you had them run a scanner an had no codes it shows internal probelm but im gald it was that an hope everything gos well.
