Isuzu Repair: 95 passport a/c blower, voltage drop test, voltage test

Question
I have a '95 passport.  A couple of days ago, the brake light and battery light came on.  The volt gauge also showed no charge even though there were no symptoms indicating a loss of power.  When this happened, my blower motor for the a/c also stopped.  It happened intermittantly for a couple of days.

Yesterday, I poked around at the relays under the hood, and got the lights off and the A/C working, and thought I'd solved the problem ... until I noticed I'd lost all charge from my alternator.  I barely made it home, running only on the battery.

Today (after charging the battery last night), I hop in it to drive to town and I'm now mysteriously getting charge, sort of.  The volt gauge started off at a healthy 13.8, but did not remain stable during the 4 mile drive.  It never totally stopped like it did yesterday, though.

I returned all the relays to their original positions and now the brake/battery lights are intermittantly back on and the blower does not work when they are.  If you could point me in the right direction before I start spending money, that'd be great.  Thanks in advance.

Answer
Well when dealing with your type of problem Will. We know that you either have some bad connections, and also that your alternator will most likely fail a voltage test as well as a voltage drop test on your charging system as well. So I would have these tested and I bet you will find a problem okay? Let me know how it goes and for pete sakes stay out of the sun!!
