Isuzu Repair: 2000 Rodeo Wont Start, dash area, button spring

Question
My V-6 Rodeo (83k on it), was giving me a issue when i turned the key i would hear a click but it wouldn't start. After a few times it would finally start. Well I took it in to my normal shop, thinking it was the starter. They changed the starter, and now it wont start (it is still at the shop). They think there is something like a car shut off if the alarm is set and not turned off (i got the car without the original keys or auto door lock, the alarm has went off and i had to go and open the driver door to get it to shut off.), They are telling me that i have to take it to the dealer (which i cant really afford at this time).

Basically What else can i try before going to a dealer.

Answer
The FACTORY ALARM DISARM WIRE IS
yellow/blue |-| Located in the
drivers kick in a white plug.
Trigger the power unlock and the factory alarm
disarm wires at the same time to disarm the alarm.

Once Located, splice into either wire with
a simular guage wire, and put it to
a solid chassis ground. This terminates
the alarm functions entirely.

Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, locate, press and hold in the
valet/overide button, found under the
dash area, (push button, spring loaded)
until the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area goes on solid,
and the siren chirps once.

(Your valet switch might be the toggle
(on/off) type. in this case, key on,
flip switch in opposite direction,
then turn the key off.)

This should reset the alarm, and reset
the grounded relay on the starter wire,
allowing you to start the engine.

At this point, the only thing working would
be the keyless entry from the alarm,
if it came equipped that way.

Just Repeat these steps to place it
back to usable armed mode.
You may get 2 chirps, confirming it,
and the lights may flash twice as well.

That should do it.

Now you have both ways
to solve this one.

Have a good day
