Isuzu Repair: 1998 Isuzu Amigo Clutch, clutch plate, clutch fork

Question
QUESTION: I have an isuzu amigo with 97,000 miles.  I am having a problem with the clutch, at least I believe it's the clutch.  I have no problem starting the car, but strangely enough I can shift into any gear without pressing down the clutch.  I can release the brake without giving it any gas and it will not die.  I can't drive it anywhere anymore because it will not move.  Today a friend and I bleed the clutch but nothing happened, there were no air bubbles in the line.  One of my friends said it seems like something is jammed possibly.  The clutch is stuck?  It goes in an out of gear easily but feels like it's locking in.  There is no noise of any kind, or smell.  When I was driving it, it started requiring me to give it more gas in order to get it to move.  While driving if I gave it to much gas the rpms would shoot up and then gradually come back down as the car caught up.  No power up hills it slowed down significantly.  Is my problem clutch related?  Is there something wrong in the transfer case?  I am going out of my mind trying to figure this out.

ANSWER: Is your clutch plate or flywheel old? I would check my linkage and clutch fork and if there is no burning or grinding you here I would think something could be binding although if I am wrong let me know and I will do some research for you.

QUESTION: I do not know how old the clutch plate or flywheel are.  I purchased this vehicle from a dealer at 94,000 miles.  When you refer to something "binding", what do you mean by that?  Could you explain that term a little more, i'm having a little problem picturing it.  There is also no grinding, and no burning.

Answer
Well something binding means that something is not moving when it should. I would think that your transmission might have something to do with it. I am in no way a transmission expert so I would try by seeing if the diapraghm springs are weak or corroded. Clutch plate not fully broken in(I doubt it though).  Release mechanism binding(not releasing). Flywheel warped. These are just a few to mention to look at okay although you know where to find me okay?
