Isuzu Repair: 2002 rodeo ac/heater control & washer pump, voltage spike, center vents

Question
My ac/heater control is stuck on "defrost" and I'm getting no air out of the center vents.  I checked the fuses and found a couple fried and replaced them.  Now the WSW washer pump--front only--doesn't work.  I'm going backwards!  Any ideas?  Florida heat really demands I get some air out the center vents.  Thanks for considering.

Answer
Well George I would check for a short in your system but also check the resistor that sits behind the glove comapartment with the blower motor. If your fuses were blown that means there was obviously a voltage spike which needs to be dealt with okay? Have you had any other problems? I am trying to get down to the real problem#1 so we can fix the real problem.
