Isuzu Repair: Engine Noise, rubber hose, valve cover

My 95 Trooper makes a ticking noise. It goes the whole time the car is running. Any idea what this may be? Thanks

The tickimg noise could be anything from your injectors pulsing or rockers tapping on the top of the valve. I would check the valve tapping first as this is a big problem with Troopers. You can hold a piece of rubber hose over the valve cover and wherever the tap is most audible that is your problem area.
