Isuzu Repair: trooper transmission and clutch issue, clutch master, isuzu trooper

Question
I have a 1992 isuzu trooper. my transmission seized up on me and i had to find a compatible transmission out of a 1994 trooper. put the new transmission in with a new clutch and it would not shift into gear once vehicle is started. i also changed the clutch master and slave cylinder  i have tried gravity bleeding, vacuum bleeding and nothing seems to fix the spongy peddle. is it a hydraulic problem or do i need to tear into the transmission again? please help!

Answer
Hello Nik, Well yes it does sound like a hydraulic or air problem, I would Check and make sure you have the Right Transmission and not a compatible one. These types of transmissions are very particular about which one is the right one. Especially with Isuzu's. I would have had the other one just rebuilt or fixed. I hope that helped. If you need anything else let me know.
