Isuzu Repair: 1992 Isuzu Trooper, fuel pressure regulator, isuzu trooper

Question
I have a 1992 Trooper. Trouble starting especially when cold (below 30 degrees). It will crank fine and sound like it is ready to kick over but just will not catch. I thought it was a gas or spark problem. New battery, plugs and wires, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, and fuel pump. Is there some type of temp guage/sensor that may be causing the problem? Starts ok in warm weather and after it has been started and run for a while. I have had this vehicle for about 10 years and it has always been a hard start but recently been a tough cold start. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Jeff

Answer
Well I would start by checking your timing is correct, you have a good strong connection on your main wiring harness(ignition harness as well) Also hard starts could be due to a broken or mis-aligned timing belt/chain as well ok? let me know how this goes.
