Isuzu Repair: 92 Isuzu pickup / clutch problems, clutch system, clutch fluid

Question
I have a 92 Isuzu pickup, 4 cyc, 5 speed, never able to figure out engine size, over 125k miles. My clutch pedal is very low and I ordered a new clutch and pressure plate for my weekend project. However is researching I noticed something about the hydraulic clutch system which has me thinking this could also resolve my clutch problem.

Question – bleeder valve for the clutch system would be where? Also I’ve gotten the impression that the brakes and clutch are somehow tied to together, is that true.

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

Answer
Hello Michael. Well, i would think you have a 2.2 liter engine, 2.3, or 2.6. The brake fluid and clutch fluid both have a separate master cylinder. The clutch cylinder being the smaller of the two. Also, your low pedal is most likely due to air in your system. There should be a bleeder screw in your lines.
