Isuzu Repair: clutch, clutch fluid, clutch plate

Question
I have a 95 rodeo 4x4 with the 3.2L engine, the clutch is slipping very badly I am afraid it won't get me around much longer, the rodeo has 150,000 miles and runs great, my problem is after some research I discovered that it has a hyd. clutch and I have never owned a car with one much less had one apart, I don't know how to tell if it is the master cyl. slave cyl. or the clutch itself, and honestly I can't even find the slave cyl. any help you can give on troubleshooting the whole system so I could be sure before I sink a bunch of money into changing the clutch only to find out my real problem is one of those cyl.

Answer
Well Lonnie. You could have a worn or oil-soaked clutch plate. Diaphragm spring is weak or damaged. Debris in your master cylinder. Or binding in your release mechanism. Your master cylinder and clutch cylinder should be very close together in the engine bay on the drivers side. Your clutch fluid reservoir should be the smaller one. If you have a suspicious that it is the fluid. bleed your clutch fluid. Or by some crazy chance you could have a faulty clutch surface.
