Jaguar Repair: Wont run after washing engine 1977 Jaguar XJ12L, castrol super clean, fuse box

Question
I have a beautiful 1977 Jaguar XJ12L, everything was clean eccept the engine so I sprayed in very well with castrol super clean, then went to start it to get it warm before washing off the super clean. now it wont run, only starts for a split second but wont run. I found the Igition relay (I think)was fried Melted good, so I repalaced it. but still won't run. I washed off the super clean. I do not have a shop manual. tried to dry everything I can see but still wont run. It does have a spark though..

Answer
There are a few things you need to do before washing your Jaguar. Always cover you distributor, fuse box and anything that water can get into. Your need to remove your distributor cap and dry it out with a clean cloth. You also need dry around each spark plug with air if you have it. I hope that this will fix your problem.
