Jaguar Repair: Wipers Dont Work on 86 XJ6, turn signal switch, wiper switch

Question
Hi - In a similar question in which the author indicates that his wipers don't work and the fuse is good (mine too), in your answer you stated "First I would confirm that you have power at the light green wire at the signal switch... Confirm that the black wire is a good ground." I'm new to Jaguars and confused by the term "signal switch". Could you please clarify this for me and help me locate it? Then I'll try to follow the rest of your answer. Also, you talked about a making available a diagram of switch connections on your web site. Could I please obtain a copy or can you send me your web site address? Thank you.

Answer
Hi Rick,
I have no idea why I said "signal switch" and no defense other than I answer these questions sometimes late at night and the wiper switch is mounted on the steering column like a turn signal switch. Duh! My design engineer must have answered that one.

Go to http://mg-tri-jag.net/XJ-6Wipers.jpg for the diagram of the signal switch ER! I mean wiper switch.
