Jaguar Repair: 1987 XJ6, vacuum lines, vacuum control

Question
actually two questions: can we generate a flow of outside air into the cabin on nice days when heat nor A/c is needed without opening the windows?

second, is 95-100C an acceptable running temp.  it seems fine but does run over the 90C mark consistantly.

Answer
Hi Bill,
There are two ways to do it. One is to purchase the Euro version vents to go in the left and right kick panels and then run the small ducts from the outside headlight rims to the Euro vents.

Or you can remove the upper dash panel and locate the vacuum hose to the correct vent to open the large center register with a manual vacuum control that you rout with new vacuum lines so as to let fresh air into the cabin. (mine failed and stuck in that position once)
