Jeep Repair: A/C Heater motor, blower motor resistor, dashboard switch

Question
2000 Jeep Wrangler 2WD 4.0L - A/C Heater Motor only works on high, not in low, M1 or M2 speeds.  AC works and still gets cold fast.  My questions are . . . it appears to be linked to either the dashboard switch or the resistor network associated with the low and med speeds.  Can the resistors themselves be replaced on the motor? Can I create a resistor network external to the motor?, or do I have to have the motor changed?  How do  I check the dash switch to make sure voltage is getting back to ground?  How can I find connector 210 (C201) called out in my Haynes manual?  The last thing I want to do is turn it over to a mechanic and start the meter running on my bill.  I want to know for certain what it takes so I can shop the repair around as I don't want to open the AC lines myself.

Answer
Seems you have yourself all twisted up into knots over a very simple diagnosis and repair. The only part that needs replacing is the blower motor resistor, which is separate from the blower motor. It is located near the blower motor on the bottom of the heater-A/C box and is held on by two screws. Replace it and you will have all blower speeds.
