Jeep Repair: 2008 Jeep Compass, obdii scanner, jeep compass

My ESP/BAS light, ABS light, and VSS light (the one that is the universal symbol for traction control) all came on simultaneously and my OBDII scanner says that there are no DTCs.  I am at a loss as I know nothing about these systems or even where to start.  I got the service manual and everything ABS related it tells you to use the scanner.

The simple code readers that are available can only read codes in engine controllers. And most can't even do that right, which leads to a lot of bad backyard diagnose's and repairs. You will need to take you car to a dealership or a reputable repair shop that has the tools to properly diagnose a problem in the Antilock Bake System.
