ANSWER: fan clutch and electrical fan are 2 different things one is mechanical one is electrical. they can be replaced separately.

QUESTION: Auxiliary fan rumbles when it comes on. Misuderstood mechanic.
Fan is what is bad, motor ok according to mech. Says fan and
clutch need to be replaced but fan can't be bought without
motor. Question is $595.00 sound right for whole assembly and
can fan and motor be bought and installed seperately?
Answerthe electric fan and the fan clutch can be replaced by itself does not need to be replaced at the same time now U do take off the fan clutch to take out the electric fan.
