Jeep Repair: 1993 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE, jeep grand cherokee, auto parts stores

THE JEEP STARTS FINE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING...IDLES SMOOTH BUT ROUGH ON ACCELERATION...CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLUCUATES AND SECURITY LIGHT COMES ON... SEEMS LIKE ONCE I DRIVE IT A LITTLE AND TURN IT OFF,IT WON'T START AGAIN..SOMETIMES WHILE DRIVING IT,IT WILL GO DEAD(IT JERKS AND POPS,RPM GAUGE JUMPS)I'VE REPLACED THE COIL AND IT DID NOT HELP.....ANY SUGGESTIONS?????

really sounds like an electrical problem. try looking into the computer, check that all wires are connected and everything looks fine. I think you should take it to a shop and have them run a test on it just to see what it says. alot of auto parts stores will do it for free.
